My Understanding About Multimedia

    The term "multimedia" refers to the merging of many media formats. When text, audio, still images, animation, video, and interactivity are combined, multimedia is formed. Text and photos, as well as video and other media, are all included in multimedia presentations.




The Five Elements of Multimedia

Multimedia fall into one of five main categories and use varied techniques for digital formatting. 

1.Text-  Text might be easily forgotten as a multimedia option, yet it is still the most basic element and most efficient means to communicate through multimedia. Its objective is to express specific information or to reinforce information that has already been conveyed through other media. It entails the use of different text kinds, sizes, colors, and backgrounds.

2.Graphics- Because people are visually oriented, graphics are an integral aspect of multimedia. Graphics on a website or in social media can include images, paintings, sketches, clip art, icons, or any other non-text components.

3. Audio- Sound can improve the look and feel of your website and social media platforms. It's a multimedia program with dialogue, recorded narration, music, and sound effects. The audio or sound parts are what they're termed.

4 - Animation Multimedia applications frequently use animated features. An animation is a collection of images stitched together to create the illusion of movement. Digital animation, both 2D and 3D, is utilized in multimedia. Movement is very good for illustrating concepts that include movement, rather than just looking at a motionless image.

5.Video 

Video is a type of visual multimedia that mixes a series of images to create moving images and music. Video may have a highly distinct and powerful influence on websites and social media platforms.



In contrast to traditional mass media such as printed material or audio recordings, multimedia is a type of communication that mixes numerous content formats such as text, audio, images, animations, or video into a single presentation. Video podcasts, audio slideshows, animated shows, and movies are all examples of multimedia.

To make it more vibrant, I use multimedia by recording audio, putting text, photographs, and photographs, and adding animation and video. This will enable us to grasp the issue more clearly and explain it in more depth. as well as making it more concise and comprehensible


 




Significance of using Multimedia 

    Multimedia information adds to a more varied and enriching learning experience, as well as better knowledge retention. Educational video provides more opportunities for pupils to engage with the material. Video-based course materials can help students from all around the world.


Significance of Multimedia in Education

Multimedia has evolved into one of the most important aspects of today's development. To put it another way, multimedia without modern education is a tree without fruit.

Beginning with audio, video, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, HoloLens, VR Glasses, VR Apps for education, and many more forms of multimedia, education is taking a new turn.

The new paradigm that is followed in this AI powered world is always defined through application of multimedia. To be very precise, the multimedia is taking the form of virtual media, interactive elements and 5D space for the field of education.

The implementation of numerous technologies in the near future will determine the overall path of education. Perhaps future schooling without multimedia will be compared to a tree with no roots

How information and communications and technology (ICT) has transformed in the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in senior high school. Information and communications technology (ICT) enhance the learning of the student. Visual and advancement of the technology improved the learning process of each student in Junior High as well as Senior High School students. We only used a loud speaker in elementary school when there was a flag ceremony and the national anthem was being performed.  National anthem will be played through video with lyrics on it while currently on the present during any activities, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has made it more convenient.
